The key success factors in achieving prosperity that is affordable for everyone
According to trade theory, trade is an indirect method of production. Moreover, countries can by specialising in production of commodities i.e. by producing a commodity more efficiently than other countries, increase their combined production of commodities and consumers in all countries can consume more of the commodities.
This implies that the differences in purchasing power between the countries need to be relatively small. A country can increase its purchasing power by increasing its production of commodities for sale to other countries. Accomplishing this requires supply of environmentally friendly energy at low cost to facilitate lower production costs and lower commodity prices which can result in increased purchasing power and increased trade.
One key success factor in achieving prosperity that is affordable for everyone would therefore be producing commodities at lowest possible energy costs.
